Sian Jones
In 2010 Sian’s third trip to Zambia brought her to Shine Zambia Reading Academy where she spent three and a half months volunteering at the school. The skills she brought as a trained and experienced Mathematics teacher were used to train Shine teachers and work with them to develop the school programme. On her return she became a trustee and took on many responsibilities within the charity, particularly with regards to running the school. She plans to make more trips to Zambia to continue working with the school!
